Now you can estimate your roof solar panels potential

Just found out about this californian company (RoofRay) that specialize in solar panels installation.
Well, the good thing is in their site...
They have an on line program that via "google earth" let's you find your house, calculates your roof area and other tech data and automatically gives you all the data you need to see your roof solar energy potential (power, cost of installation, electrical bills, etc.)
I'll attach the tutorial they have so you can see it your self and below the link...

Ok, not quite a design post...but from an environmental point of view it was worth it!!

Greek National Applied Arts & Industrial Design Competition Canceled

Sorry to bring you some bad news...
I just find out that the "Greek National Applied Arts & Industrial Design" competition has been canceled due to sponsor retreat...
Well I don't know what to say on the subject...in fact there isn't much...
Maybe only another example of bad organization...

Event Review: Greek Designers Proposals in the areas of Lighting, Furniture and Product Exhibition

Hallo there again...well first of all you must excuse me for the long absence, but you must recognize that as a freelancer sometimes work comes all together...

So, another great news for the Greek design community....
The guys of the "Hellenic Industrial Design Secretariat" (Elliniki Grammateia Biomixanikou Sxediasmou) organized an exhibition with proposals in the areas of lighting, furniture and products.
I think it would be great just to check it out...and off course you are all invited because from as I know entrance is free.
